Q. I represent an artist – How do I get a gig at Exchange?
A. Our In House staff mostly fill our diary with bookings from external promoters. We actively encourage local bands to take a DIY approach in promoting their own shows and are happy to offer a discounted rate on hire in these circumstances. By promoting your own shows you can not only make a lot more money for all artists involved (when compared to the £1 per head flyer deal), but you can also curate the event to ensure that you are playing with similar artists. If you are interested in this option please email firstname.lastname@example.org – If you are after a specific support slot then you will be able to find out which promoter is programming the event via the event page and contact them direct. Most promoters can be found via Facebook / Google Search, but we are unable to give out our Promoter’s emails.
Q. Where can I buy tickets for events at Exchange?
A. From the ‘What’s On’ tab above.
Q. I don’t seem to have received my ticket / e-ticket? What should I do? Will I be able to get in without one?
A. Please contact the ticket seller directly. They will contact the promoter for the event. Always remember to check your Junk Mail first as many customers find e-tickets there.
Q. Where can I find out Stage Times for the event I wish to attend?
A. We try our best to post stage times on social media where they are available. As a small venue we have a small team and often the gigs we host are not being programmed by us – Oftentimes we haven’t been sent the information or we receive it too late to post. We always try to make sure set times are printed at the door. As a rule of thumb the majority of gigs finish between 10pm and 11pm.
Q. I have lost an item at Exchange – Who do I contact?
A. Email email@example.com and we’ll take a look for you. Please note we are only able to keep a hold of lost property for seven days
Q. What is your Access Policy?
A. You can read our full Access Policy here
Q. The event I wish to attend says sold out on your website – Will there be tickets left on the door?
A. Unfortunately not. We encourage customers to sell tickets via Twickets. We advice customers to be very careful when buying tickets through Facebook as there has been an increase in scammers.
Q. Do you have a cloakroom?
A. Yes, it costs £1 per item. Please ask at the Bar.
Q. Where is the best place to park?
A. After 5pm there is free bay parking o On the streets behind the venue. There are bays available for free on Old Market Street from 6.45pm. Alternatively you can park at Cabot Circus Car Park which is approximately 1.2 miles from the venue.
